Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) is the campus of Columbia's medical schools and research facilities. It is sometimes referred to as the Columbia University Health Sciences campus. The campus is located on 20 acres in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan. It is affiliated with NewYork–Presbyterian Hospital.

The medical center was founded as Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center, affiliated with what was then Presbyterian Hospital. When it opened on October 12, 1928, it was among the first comprehensive University Medical centers in the country.

The land on which the center is built includes the former site of the New York Highlander's stadium. They went on to become the Yankees.

The Med center comprises half of Columbia's annual operating budget of approximately $2 billion. The med center also employs over 2,000 of Columbia's 3,300 faculty members.
