This was removed a couple of years ago because the list wasn't updated much and felt a bit stale. Is it worth re-introducing a featured article section? I've created several pages here both with "anyonymous IP's" or with my username and my pages have been deleted and re-created under other usernames or IP's. What gives? This is completely unfair for authors.

Is there a way to have the "Featured article" span the width of the entire page like "Useful external links" instead of being squished in the same column as "Welcome to WikiCU"?

:That's my fault. I designed the main page, and I mostly use a 1280x800 screen, so nothing appears squished. However, I do realize that on smaller screens things don't look great. I'll get rid of the calendar just now because it has little use over the summer. ::OK, I've now made that change. I'm not sure that the main page looks better in general, but it should certainly look better on smaller screens. I've also made it a lot easier for others to edit, so perhaps someone else can have a shot at making it look good. It uses three templates: [[Template:Box]] (a simple content box), [[Template:Box2]] (a content box with 2 places for content), and [[Template:Box-links]] (a content box for the external links, because I couldn't seem to use [[Template:Box]] in conjunction with <nowiki>{{:Links}}</nowiki>). Re-introduce featured articles?

Delete search box?
