Hamilton Deli is a small sandwich shop/supermarket on Amsterdam between 115th and 116th Sts. It is known popularly as Ham Del. Awesome sandwiches and rapid-fire service, but often infested with law and business students. Get the VIP card and you'll get a free sandwich after 10 purchases.
ABC Special
The ABC Special is a sandwich which is not on the menu at Hamilton Deli. To get it, you have to know what it is and ask for it specifically. It is:
- Chicken salad wrapped in cheddar cheese
- Optional lettuce and tomatoes
- Placed between two slices of buttered toast
It's fattalicious. And cheap.
Tour de Ham Del
The Tour de Ham Del is a grueling gamut run only by the stout of heart. To complete it, one must consume at least one of every single type of combination hero at Hamilton Deli. Do not forget the ones on the red and green signs on the side. This is 29 sandwiches in all, including the elusive Philly Chicken Steak. Rob Trump completed it and he is awesome. He didn't even like eating the tuna melt but he did it for love of the game.
