The I. A. L. Diamond Award for Achievement in the Arts is presented each spring by the Varsity Show to "Columbia or Barnard alumnus/a who has demonstrated continued commitment to and has found success in the arts." The award is named after academy award winner I. A. L. Diamond CC '41, the only Columbian to have written 4 Varsity Show scripts.
