MSDNAA (MSDN Academic Alliance) is a highly under-publicized program at Columbia that provides free Microsoft software to any student taking at least 1 credit during the semester.

Getting the software

Students who have CRF accounts (used for certain Computer Science classes) can download the software instantly from the MSDNAA Web site. Other students must visit the CRF offices (see directions in article) and request a CD from Daisy Nguyen.
