Sigma Phi Epsilon is a fraternity that is often known as SigEp. It operates the "Balanced Man Program" and scholarship. The NY Phi Chapter's members are among the more social and well-known students at Columbia. Brothers are involved in CCSC / ESC, Rowing, Soccer, and Tennis.

According to a March 2010 NY Post Article, Sigma Phi Epsilon has an on-campus reputation for being "meatheads" Columbia's Greek 'RHO'
