The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art is a privately funded college in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan.

Cooper Union mostly offers degrees in engineering, though in less disciplines than SEAS. It also offers degrees in Art and Architecture.

Cooper's abundance in male students make it a popular hookup place for nearby male-deprived NYU students. (There are many.)
