I think it was shut down in 1979 when a comprehensive curricular review was undertaken to see how far Columbia's A&S departments had turned into shit. If I had "Stand, Columbia" with me, I could find out in a jiffy (I read about it there), but alas, that book sits 15,000 kilometres away. Ttan 15:18, 18 November 2007 (EST)
There's a B&W article about it from November 2005 that's no longer online...if I could get my hands on a back copy we might know... Pacman 15:56, 18 November 2007 (EST)
