Can we find recordings of some of these? Especially "Sans Souci," which I've never heard of (nor heard). 160.39.181.74 12:15, 16 May 2007 (EDT)
:They played Sans Souci at Class Day. Lovely song. By the way, it should be pointed out (I just noticed at Commencement) that the tune to "Stand Columbia" is the same as Haydn's Emperor Waltz- aka, the melody that was used for "Deutschland ueber alles".
Perhaps the most lovely of all Columbia songs is the Alma Mater written by Edward MacDowell, the American composer who was a member of the Columbia faculty from 1896-1904.

Columbia O alma mater
Loyal vows we bring thee here
Though years roll by, we'll ne'er forget thee,
Alma mater dear
Alma mater dear
Columbia thy sons adore thee,
And wish thee all good cheer,
And vow with this, they truly love thee,
