CTV News is the primary source of video news for the Columbia community, covering campus issues and neighborhood news. In October 2006, CTV News footage of the [[Minuteman stage-rush]] was picked up by major media outlets, including CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and the New York Times.

Jim Gilchrist and his band of Minuteman senior citizens were giving a polemical lecture in [[Lerner Hall]]. A bunch of political crazies ran onto the stage wishing to join the political crazies already on stage and in general monkeying about all over the place. Splash! Major news! [[Chris Kulawik]], Chief Republican went on Fox News. Then he debated [[Avi Zvi Zenilman]] on the O'Reilly Factor. Columbia was branded "University of Havana (North)", leading light of the "left-wing jihad". The whole thing made a lot of people mad, but made [[The Bwog]] famous. The story was widely covered on cable television, largely due to footage captured by [[CTV News]].
It airs live on [[CTV]], so we're told, every Sunday night at 7 with an encore presentation at 11, and repeats every other night at 7 and 11.

If you're nostalgic for the good old days of community public access television and high school audio/visual, you'll enjoy the retro graphics and music that the program's hefty budget allows.
