&lt;div&gt;The &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Kingsmen&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; are a men&amp;#039;s a cappella group, founded for [[Homecoming]] in [[1948]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
In [[1969]] the group became the band [[w:Sha Na Na|Sha Na Na]], who opened for Jimi Hendrix at the  Woodstock Festival and appear in the Woodstock movie, as well as in Grease. &amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;[http://www.college.columbia.edu/cct/jul_aug06/letterseditor.php Letters to the Editor &amp;quot;Sha Na Na&amp;quot; Columbia College Today - July/August 2006]&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; Columbia was the only college represented at Woodstock. &lt;br /&gt;
[[Art Garfunkel]] and [[Tom Kitt]] are a prominent alumni.&lt;br /&gt;
