The competition sponsored by the [http://www.aiaa.org/ National AIAA].  The group has a workshop on the [http://www.civil.columbia.edu/carleton/teaching/clubs.html second floor] of [http://www.civil.columbia.edu/carleton/index.html Carleton Lab] in [[Mudd Hall]]. It is a recognized student group under the [[Activities Board at Columbia]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Despite disagreements from [[Columbia Society of Automotive Engineers|FSAE]], Columbia AIAA is usually referred to as the best looking engineering group on campus.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

In April 2018, the team competed in Ocala, FL where after some thrust modifications and weight optimizations, flew successfully.&lt;br /&gt;

The group has a workshop on the [http://www.civil.columbia.edu/carleton/teaching/clubs.html second floor] of [http://www.civil.columbia.edu/carleton/index.html Carleton Lab] in [[Mudd Hall]]. It is a recognized student group under the [[Activities Board at Columbia]].&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Despite disagreements from [[Fsae]], Columbia AIAA is usually referred to as the best looking engineering group on campus.&lt;br /&gt;

In April 2018, the team competed in Ocala, FL where after some thrust modifications and weight optimizations, flew successfully.&lt;br /&gt;
