In spring 2013, spring 2016, spring 2017, and spring 2018 the chapter earned a 5 star [[ALPHA Standards of Excellence]] rating and was designated as the highest scoring chapter in the Inter-Greek Council with a perfect score. The chapter also earned achievement awards in community service (presented to chapters that complete over 20 service hours per member) and campus involvement (presented to chapters where over 60% are involved in another campus activity).

==Service & Philanthropy==
FIJI’s national philanthropy is the United Service Organization (USO). USO is a nonprofit organization that provides programs, services and live entertainment to United States troops and their families.

In the Fall 23 semester, FIJI ran a 4k to raise awareness for the Movember organisation and ended up raising over $2000.

Columbia hosts one of the original chapters of the fraternity, having been founded as "Omega Chapter" in 1848.

Omega FIJI was "indisputably the most socially active fraternity on campus, providing generations of its Brothers and their guests a veritable oasis of cordial camaraderie, a revivifying outlier of genial companionship in the otherwise aridly inaffable wasteland that was, for far too long, the social desert that was Columbia."

'''Bacchanal''' is a student-run organization that plans a variety of events, including Columbia's premiere annual spring festival, [[Concert on the Steps]], among other projects like carnivals, parties and more. It is organized by [[Bacchanal Events]]. While historically receiving funding a manner similar to other groups under the [[ABC]] mantle, Bacchanal now receives a separate allocation from governing boards during [[F@CU]].

The spring concert is a free concert on the steps of Low open to undergraduate Columbia ticket-holders. Its aim is to increase school spirit and release some of the students' stress before the end of the year exams. Past performers include: Macklemore, Big Sean, Snoop Dogg, Vampire Weekend, Kanye West, and Bob Saget. Before new restrictions placed in 2015, the spring concert was preceded by a week-long series of fun activities, such as a spring bbq, inviting food trucks onto college walk, and a public movie screenings on 4/20. The food trucks still make an appearance. Past themes have included 'Baccha90s', 'Abacchalypse', and 'Chewbacchanal'.

Bacchanal faced heavy backlash after the 2022 Bacchanal was held off campus at Terminal 5. Since capacity at Terminal 5 is limited to 3,000 students, Bacchanal released tickets during three separate drops on AXS.com. The website crashed repeatedly and many students were unable to get a ticket due to technical errors or the lack of space at T5. While T5 was mostly full, many students left before the headliner, Rick Ross, performed and were disappointed by the leadership of the event.

Past events Bacchanal has organized include the Fall Concert, a more intimate and smaller dance party hosted in Lerner Party Space, and Lowlapalooza, a day long music festival showcasing Columbia musicians in association with CU Records. Previous artists for the fall concert include Micky Avalon.

To raise revenue, Bacchanal sells an assortment of merchandise in weeks leading up to the spring concert.
