The Marshall Scholarship, considered almost as prestigious as the Rhodes Scholarship, awards two years at either Oxford or Cambridge.

A recent drought in Columbia wins was ended in Fall 2006 when a Marshall was awarded to Paul Sonne. Then Emma Kaufman won in 2008.

You can begin the application process through the Fellowships Office.

The Columbia Political Review (CPR) is the multi-partisan political magazine of the Columbia Political Union. No doubt it has the same aim, to increase involvement in and discourse about politics. Appropriately, the CPR claims to monitor "Columbia's political pulse". The Editor-in-Chief is Mark Krotov. Last year, the editor was Paul Sonne.
