	Our two largest events of the year is the annual Fall Gala and cultureSHOCK. The AAA Gala is a community dinner that aims to bring together the Columbia AAPI community and fundraise for local and national AAPI organizations. It features performances from student artists and organizations on campus, and all proceeds are donated to charity. AAA has raised hundreds of dollars for organizations including Make the Road NYC and Asian Americans Advancing Justice. CultureSHOCK is a charity showcase composed of a fashion show featuring both high-end and eccentric, new, Asian American designers, followed by a gallery of up-and-coming artists at Columbia and New York City. CultureSHOCK provides a platform for a diversity of Asian American artistic expression and seeks to break through the stereotypes and challenges that our community faces. All funds have gone toward community non-profit groups including Art Against Displacement, the Asian American Women's Coalition, and Asian American Lead.
