The '''Interim Governing Body''' (IGB) was a transitional funding organization that existed during the 1997-1998 academic year and was created by a coalition of the undergraduate [[student councils]] and [[Student Development and Activities]]. It was created to remove the burden of funding the over one hundred student organizations at the time from the councils. In the following year, it would be renamed the [[Activities Board at Columbia]].

The acronym should not be confused with the [[Interschool Governing Board]] (also IGB), which was established almost ten years later in 2006.
