Jordan Hirsch CC '10 was Editor-in-Chief of The Current, a quarterly journal of politics, culture, and Jewish affairs. He was also a columnist for the Spectator.

In 2007, Jordan was part of a group of students that organized protests against the visit of former Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, publishing an op-ed with David Feith, CC '09, in the National Review arguing against Columbia's invitation.

Jordan received the James P. Shenton Prize for best essay in Contemporary Civilization and the Allen J. Willen Memorial Prize, awarded by the departments of history and political science for best essay on a contemporary American political problem. He later worked as an editor at the Wall Street Journal and Foreign Affairs magazine. He has been published in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, and Washington Post. He is now a student at Yale Law School.
