The main function of the app was to monitor COVID symptoms on campus. Upon opening the app, students were prompted to check themselves for COVID symptoms, including fever, cough, or breathing problems. Students were also asked to check if they had travelled outside the US, or been in contact with a COVID-positive person in the last two weeks. <br /> <br /> If the answer to all the questions was no, the student got a &quot;green pass&quot;, valid for 24 hours, that would allow them to enter select Columbia buildings.
