Chris Beam Columbia College '06 is, along with Nick Summers, co-editor of IvyGate. While at Columbia, he worked on The Blue and White. Hailing from Newton, Mass., Beam now works for Slate in Washington, DC. He is the son of obnoxious Boston Globe columnist Alex Beam.
