The American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Columbia (AIAA) is a pre-professional organization recognized under the Activities Board at Columbia. The group is based out of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and seeks to educate students about opportunities present in the fields of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The group also competes in annual design/build/fly competitions across the United States.
