Mohammad Hemeida (CC '25) was elected Chair of the Student Governing Board in April of 2024, succeeding Yanni Kent. Previously, he served as Treasurer and a Representative at Large. In addition, Mohammad served on the Undergraduate Recruitment Committee, the Columbia College Dean's Student Advisory Group, the executive board of the Arab Students Association, and as an Executive Editor for the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review.
