Peter Kirby Allen is a professor in the computer science department who builds and plays with cool robots. One particularly apt review of him on CULPA states, "Professor Allen will not hold your hand, he will not take any shit, and he will teach you data structures." He's known for being a very clear lecturer, but tends to be overly exhaustive in describing example code.
