Roman Catholic Church located at 529 West 121st Street (across the street from Teachers College).
The church is best known for its association with Thomas Merton.[1] Merton was baptized and took his first communion there and was a member of the parish while a graduate student at Columbia University. The church also runs a school, which comedian George Carlin attended as a boy.
