Mohammad Hemeida

Mohammad Hemeida (CC '25) was elected Chair of the Student Governing Board in April of 2024, succeeding Ayan Kent. Previously, he served as Treasurer and a Representative at Large. He was also a member of the Undergraduate Recruitment Committee, the Columbia College Dean's Student Advisory Group, the executive board of the Arab Students Association, and the Columbia Undergraduate Law Review as an Executive Editor.
He graduated in May 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science.
