Applied Mathematics is a university major, open to students from CC, SEAS, BC, and GS. Applied Mathematics is also the name of a group within the Department of Applied Physics and Applied Mathematics, an applied science department within SEAS. Research topics include climate modeling, geophysical mathematics, biophysics and quantitative biology, scientific computation, numerical analysis, and analysis.
