Barnard Spirit Day is a celebration of Barnard's "strong and beautiful"...Barnard-ness. The occasion was probably conceived as a way to solidify Barnard's independent identity in the midst of the oft-confusing Barnard-Columbia relationship. It usually goes down in April.
