The Biomedical Engineering Department is a department within the Fu Foundation School of Engineering and Applied Science. The department was founded in 2000 and primarily covers tissue and cellular engineering, biomechanics, and biomedical imaging through teaching and research. The department has over twenty full-time faculty members and over a dozen adjunct and affiliated faculty.
The department offers a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and also has M.S. and Ph.D. programs in the same field.
