The Brain Trust was a group of professors gathered by US President (and Columbia Law School dropout) Franklin Delano Roosevelt, tapped to help deal with the problems the country faced during the Great Depression. Raymond Moley of Barnard, who claims to have helped coined the term "New Deal", was one of the professors selected, and was instrumental in including many other faculty members from Columbia in the group.
