  • MTA Buses, most of which are excruciatingly slow--often slower than walking. However, they are often your only public transit option for going across town. Particularly useful bus lines include the M4, which goes to the Met and other museums on 5th Avenue, the M104, which runs down Broadway, and the M60, which goes to LaGuardia Airport.
