The civil engineering major is filled with hardworking and kind students. Undergraduate students take classes in civil engineering and engineering mechanics, with some classes shared with Earth and Environmental Engineering. Students have the option to concentrate in Structural/Geotechnical Engineering, Construction Management, or Water Resources/Environmental Engineering, with most students choosing Structural or Construction Management. It is associated with a highly active ASCE chapter on campus.
