Hamid Dabashi is a professor in the MEALAC Department who studies Iranian culture.
Conservative David Horowitz named him one of the "101 most dangerous" professors in America.
After President Bollinger's castigation of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad during the latter's campus appearance in Fall 2007, Dabashi wrote a long article for Egypt's leading paper, Al-Ahram, alleging that Bollinger was a racist.
