Ian's longest standing contribution to the Columbia community came through his theatrical endeavors.  He painted the famous sets of [[111th Varsity Show]], including the subway car in which the orchestra played.  He also assistant directed CU Players' Agamemnon and served as an acting coach to some of the most celebrated performances of CU Players' Metamorphosis.
