IvyGate is a gossip blog founded by Columbia alums Chris Beam and Nick Summers. One of the current editors is Columbia student Dan D'Addario. As its name implies, it reports on stories from around the Ivy League, usually by scanning through school newspapers and blogs. Columbia students are often among the rotating cast of editors.

IvyGate was partly responsible for the 2013 Admissions Essay Leak.
