Joseph Massad MA '89 MPhil '94 PhD '98 is a professor in the MEALAC department. He teaches Arab politics and intellectual history.
He was the central figure charged with intimidating Jewish students during the scandal surrounding the documentary Columbia Unbecoming.
Various rumors pertaining to unrelated issues have circulated surrounding his continued denial of tenure.
