The Linguistics Department at Columbia no longer exists. Some time ago, it was terminated, the details of which are available in a Blue and White article that's no longer available online. A Linguistics concentration has been revived, however, and is primarily overseen by the Slavic Languages and Literatures Department. Teachers College, however, offers a Masters and PhD in Applied Linguistics.
