Maxim Pinkovskiy, CC '08 is the valedictorian of the Columbia College class of 2008. He is an economics-math major who has received an NSF graduate research fellowship and has also been selected as a Soros fellow. Maxim will pursue a PhD at MIT starting in Fall 2008.
