The Philolexian Prize is an award for fiction, essays, memoirs, poetry, plays, film scripts, or translations of literature written by an undergraduate in Columbia College. Originating in a series of prizes awarded by the Philolexian Society in Oratory, Debate, and Essay beginning in 1852, it has been given by the English Department since the 1950s.

Among its notable recipients are Allen Ginsberg; conservative polemicist Ralph de Toledano won it twice.
