Pizmon is the coed, Jewish a cappella group of Columbia University, Barnard College, and the Jewish Theological Seminary. It was founded in 1987 as the first ever Jewish collegiate a cappella group and since then has traveled to hundreds of communities in the New York metropolitan area, across the country, and around the world. Pizmon's repetoire includes liturgical pieces, Israeli rock and pop, English parodies, Yiddish classics, and children's songs.

Pizmon mainly performs off campus for diverse Jewish communities. In the past, the group has traveled to Wales, Great Britain, Argentina, Israel, the Ukraine, and other locations.

Auditions for Pizmon occur every September at the beginning of the academic calendar.
