Robert K. Kraft, CC '63, started the Kraft Group (not Kraft Foods), a diversified holdings company. He also owns the four time Super Bowl Champions New England Patriots. He is a Boston-area native.

He is a large supporter of Columbia University, and supplied the money to build the Kraft Center, which houses Hillel. In 2005, he spoke at CC's Class Day.

In 2007 Kraft aided the kick-off of the Columbia Campaign for Athletics with a $5 million donation.[1][2] In his honor, the University plans on renaming the field at Wien Stadium Robert K. Kraft Field.

Kraft won a John Jay Award in 1987, later won an Alexander Hamilton Medal, and is a known member of the Senior Society of Sachems.
