Robert Lieberman is the interim dean of SIPA, having been named to this post on February 17, 2012 after John Coatsworth stepped up as provost. Lieberman had served previously as the school's vice-dean and is a professor of International and Public Affairs and Political Science. In June 2013, he will step down to serve as provost of Johns Hopkins.
