The Social Affairs Committee was a student governmental body created by the Student Board in 1938 in order to "coordinate the social functions of the various organizations in the College so as to avoid duplication of dates and other matters."[1] It was succeeded in 1958 by the Ferris Booth Hall Board of Managers.[2]
