Solar Splash was a highly successful Mechanical Engineering club which is now inactive. They built a boat for the IEEE's Solar Splash competition. However, their memory lives on, several trophies from the group's victories are on display in the Mechanical Engineering lab. The group unsuccessfully attempted to receive recognition from ABC in 2009, but was denied due to lack of membership.
