The summer is a distant utopia until you come out of your last final. Then it hits you. Within a few days, once Columbia kicks you out of your residence hall, you've got three to fourth months to do whatever you want.
Things to do
- Get an internship. This is probably the most sensible option. It will help you get a job upon graduation, hopefully you'll make some money, and you might even have a little fun.
- Travel.
- Volunteer for a non-profit or do 'activist' stuff.
- Do nothing. This might be nice if you're rich and live in the Caribbean.
