Tao Tan CC '07 Business '11 was a student at Columbia College and Columbia Business School, which he represented as a University Senator. He was also the Chairman of the Student Affairs Committee of the University Senate for 2010-2011.

He received the William J. Heffernan Memorial Award for Service from Columbia Business School for leadership within the Business School and the University community upon graduation in 2011.
