The Columbia Lion (also known as The Lion and Columbia Lion) is a blog created by Stephen Snowder, the former editor of Spectrum and Jake Davidson, the former Online Editor of Columbia Daily Spectator. It launched in February 2013. It's supposed to be like Bwog or Spectrum, but better.

To protest the fact that many candidates in the CCSC 2013 elections were running unopposed, The Columbia Lion ran their own write-in ticket.<ref>The Lion Party write-in ticket To no one's surprise, they lost.
