The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art is a privately funded college in the East Village neighborhood of Manhattan, several blocks east of NYU.
The Cooper Union mostly offers degrees in engineering, though in less disciplines than SEAS. It also offers degrees in Art and Architecture.
