The Donce
The Donce was the name of John Jay floors 11 and 12 during the 2006-2007 school year. The name stems from a portmanteau of the Spanish words for "eleven" and "twelve," "once" and "doce," respectively. Languages were never a forte. Members of the floors socialized with few outsiders and often listened to "Ignition (Remix)," R. Kelly's magnum opus.
