The Owl is the alumni newsletter of the School of General Studies. It publishes semiannually.

History

Originally, The Owl was a weekly student publication run by GS students and sponsored by the General Studies Student Association. It's first issue appeared in November 1959, much of it devoted to literary criticism, book reviews, and a sports page. The Owl's first editor was Richard Stone GS '60.
