Toast
Toast is an American-style restaurant located on Broadway at 105th St, in the location formerly occupied by Carne. It is owned by the same people who own The Heights Bar and Grill. Before moving to its current location, Toast was further up Broadway, between Tiemann Place and LaSalle St.
The burgers at Toast are second to none. They're slowly cooked in a toaster oven and sandwiched between perfectly seasoned, toasted buns. Try the Alpine Burger, a swiss-cheese-topped masterpiece resting on a delicious portabello cap. They also have a great selection of draft beers including a Heffe Weizen that they serve in an intimidating special glass.
