The Upper West Side (UWS) is the neighborhood south of Morningside Heights, stretching north from (roughly) 59th Street. It's mostly filled with upper middle class Jewish families, although pockets are still poor and even include projects. The UWS includes some interesting and useful shit, including the American Museum of Natural History, the Time Warner Center at Columbus Circle, the Lincoln Center, and a few movie theatres.
